Unlike other squirrel-proof feeders that deliver a slight shock to those backyard critters, Squirrel Off is solar-powered and keeps the energy, only using it as needed, instead of being “turned on” all the time.  It operates as a weight-activated charge system which has a red and green diode to let you know if the feeder is charged and if it’s turned on. It is constructed of powder-coated green colored metal with a silver color corrugated roof which lifts up easily for filling.
